Scope of Work: As a Project Manager at Gulf Cooperation Symbols Contracting Company, your role will be pivotal in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, while accommodating client specifications and safety regulations.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a diverse team of project engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering clear communication and collaboration among team members.
  3. Resource Management: Manage project resources, encompassing labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest quality standards by conducting routine inspections, addressing issues promptly, and adhering to industry best practices.
  5. Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, analyze cost variances, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  6. Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, providing progress updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation plans to maintain project progress.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities conform to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  9. Reporting: Generate and present regular project reports to senior management, summarizing project status, financial performance, and key performance indicators.
  10. Project Closeout: Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, client acceptance, and the successful handover of completed projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • An established track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Profound knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • The capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications (preferred).
